Intrepid motorcyclist rides Ural through blizzard

Intrepid motorcyclist rides Ural through blizzard

The Midwest was hit by an intense snow storm earlier this week, and while the conditions may have been more appropriate for a snowmobile than most cars, at least one person found it acceptable weather in which to ride a motorcycle. Granted, this wasn't your typical motorcycle. Instead, it was a two-passenger, two-wheel-drive Ural being ridden along the snow-covered Interstate 65 in Indianapolis. On Ural motorcycles equipped with a sidecar, both rear wheels can actually driven by the engine, depending on the model chosen.

Oppo Find 5 Has A 32GB Model, Will Hit The Global Market In Q1 Next Year

Chinese electronics company, Oppo Digital, has managed to dropped a special gift for all its “Ofans” around the world. Oppo posted a new teaser of the Oppo Find 5 smartphone on its official Facbook page earlier today showing a much larger 32GB version of the “phablet” which costs $569. When Oppo took the wraps off the Oppo Find 5 earlier this month, we only know of one model – a 16GB which is priced at $499. It's good to know that interested buyers can opt for a 32GB variant for their bigger storage needs.
Additionally, the teaser also reveals that the device is coming to a list of countries soon.

China Introduces World's Longest High Speed Railway

By now, you probably experienced enough travel headaches to last you another year now that both Thanksgiving and other major holidays are over. Many of you probably traveled by plane, train or automobile to get back home to spend the holidays with your loved ones, and not-so loved ones, too. Traveling to your home probably became an all-day ordeal, but if you were riding by China's newest high-speed railway, you probably could have been there and back in the same day.

Ford says Raptor has become most sought-after truck for toy licensing

The Ford F-150 SVT Raptor is a fun truck for all ages, and not just when it comes to blasting over rough terrain at high speeds. Ford says that its off-road performance truck has performed just as well on the shelves of stores as it does on real-world trails with the truck being used as the inspiration for everything from kids toys to video games. For proof of this, we have to look no further than the Raptor Power Wheels from Fisher-Price or the Traxxas Raptor remote-controlled truck.

Earlier this year we reported that Fujitsu had a smartphone designed for the elderly called the Raku Raku. Fujitsu is hoping that by expanding overseas, they will be able to ship more phones and are estimating about 10 million devices shipped in 2014.

If you didn't quite find what you were hoping to see under the tree this year, maybe it's about time you buy yourself something nice. Something like an unregistered 2005 Porsche Carrera GT. The car has never been titled and has just 83 miles on the odometer. With one owner since new, the Carrera GT is likely to be as nice an example as you're likely to find outside of a museum. Porsche only built 340 of these machines back in 2005, and with a 610 horsepower V10 kicking at your spine, you can lap Santa's sleigh next year.

Xiaomi looking to expand beyond China by testing localized ROMs for Hong Kong and Taiwan

While China might have started off by copying Android smartphones and making low-priced knock offs, they certainly have come a long way with the introduction of high-end devices, such as the Xiaomi Phone 2. Unfortunately those devices are limited to the China market although the good news is that it looks like Xiaomi is interested in taking the party beyond China's borders. According to Xiaomi's newly created Facebook page, the company is looking to stop by several Asian regions first before its expansion into Europe, and these regions include Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Is the iPhone 5 prone to bending?

Is the iPhone 5 prone to bending?

While we'd love to see products launch without a hitch, sadly that rarely is the case and most of the time these issues range from extremely minor to major. In the case of the iPhone 5, reports are coming in from China (via Nowhereelse) that the iPhone 5 is facing some "flexibility" issues (as pictured above). If you're wondering why this is only being reported now, it's because this issues seems to have come from China alone where the iPhone 5 was launched not too long ago.

We have seen plenty of the Neo Geo X in the past, as this is in no way a top secret device waiting in the wings to be launched, but rather, it is another portable handheld console that intends to make a name for itself in the dog-eat-dog world. Well, it did not take too long for the Neo Geo X to fall victim to hacking, which is not surprising at all considering how other more established portable gaming consoles such as the Nintendo range (DS, DSi, 3DS) and Sony PlayStation Vita were hacked after being released to the market so soon.

Gymkhana 5 was released in early July, but we're only just getting the obligatory behind-the-scenes video of the DC Shoes and Ken Block extravaganza now. There's plenty of both as Block and crew show how the stunts around San Francisco were executed, including the scenes at Russian Hill, Potrero Hill, Twin Peaks, Battery Street, the Bay Bridge and the barge in the bay.

Television remotes back in the day pretty much were good for a couple of things, such as changing channels, increasing volume, and adjusting the colors/brightness. However with smart TVs coming into play these days, the controls that come with them now play a larger role, allowing the user more control over their television apart from your typical channel surfing and volume adjustment. That being said, the folks at LG have recently announced that they have redesigned their Magic Remote for their CINEMA 3D Smart TV lineup, the highlight of which is its advanced voice control technology.

It will definitely cut down on pocket bulging problem, but I don't know how convenient it is to get access your cards and cash. From the demo video on the site, it looks to be more trouble than it's worth. At least in my opinion.
