Let's see – there is a MacBook Air, the iPad Air, so why not have the iPhone follow in the very same footsteps some time down the road. Who knows, Apple might just do that, but right now, we do have a couple of videos to share with you – one above as well as another right after, that will depict the possibility of what the iPhone Air as well as iPhone 6C would look like if they happened to be in existence.

Android Device Manager app hits the Google Play Store

Android Device Manager app hits the Google Play Store

When Google launched the Android Device Manager, many users rejoiced. Finally, a built-in solution for finding, locking and securing lost devices. It was great, but the fact that you had to head to a web browser to do anything with it was a bit of a turn-off. A simple bookmark to the device manager site had us techies on our way, but your average Joe probably didn't care to find and remember the URL.
That should all change with the release of a new app today. Google has released an Android Device Manager app in the Play Store, giving folks a clean, fast and easy interface for locating, wiping, and locking their device from afar.

Good news GTA 5 fans, if you guys have already completed the game or are looking forward to additional content, you might recall that Rockstar has promised gamers that a DLC would be making its way to the game in the near future, one that adds an "exciting story mode" to the game. Last we heard, there were rumors about its content, and how it could feature things like casinos, dirt racing, and even the very PETA-unfriendly shark shooting. While it remains to be seen what sort of features we might be able to expect, Rockstar has since posted on its blog a short tease on what to expect. Is the $1.4M LaFerrari sold out?

If you look at the stratospheric sticker prices on the latest generation of hypercars and wonder how an automaker could possibly justify it, bear in mind a few factoids. For one thing, even when the sticker prices start lower, they quickly balloon past the million-dollar mark. For another, automakers charge that much because they can, and don't seem to have much trouble selling them all. Case in point: the new LaFerrari.

Ferrari 458 Speciale already sold out for first year

Ferrari 458 Speciale already sold out for first year

Ferrari tends to sell its models out extremely quickly – its wait lists are the stuff of legend. That's especially true when the cars in question are of the fastest or most exclusive variety. If new reports are to be believed, Maranello has already sold the entire 499-unit production run of its new LaFerrari hypercar, and now Australia's Motoring is claiming that Ferrari has also filled its order book for the entire first year's production run of its new 458 Speciale. For those unfamiliar, the 458 Speciale follows in a proud line of hardcore mid-engined V8 Ferraris in the footsteps of the 360 Challenge Stradale and 430 Scuderia.

The perfect iPad accessory for the geek in your life this holiday season...

I think the Smart Covers Apple sells simply do not do their iPads justice. To create such a great tech-sexy piece of hardware only to cover/protect its screen with plastic is just tragic… and to charge $40 for it to boot. Well, as the story goes, I was dancing the Net looking for a worthy and unique leather alternative, and I came across the MakeThingsBetter page on Etsy.  It not only caught my attention enough to look through the site but write this up AND also add the Game of Thrones “Winter is Coming” iPad mini Smart Cover to my Christmas wish list.

Chris Harris condemns demonization of Porsche Carrera GT in wake of Walker death

When something bad happens, it's easy to resort to scapegoating. At least for some of us, that seems to be exactly what has happened following the tragic death of actor Paul Walker and racer Roger Rodas, who were killed on November 30 in a Porsche Carrera GT. Even though officials have not yet determined the cause of the crash, that isn't stopping many theories from being put for – theories that include blaming the Porsche supercar.

We're right in the middle of the holiday season, which means you've probably stood in line for much longer than you would have liked in order to purchase a holiday-related gift. Considering how terrible the experience of standing in line is, we're not entirely sure why someone would create a "game" based on it, but that's exactly what "Waiting in Line 3D" is. The game is pretty simple: you wait in line. That's pretty much it. The controls for the game allows you to look slightly to the left, slightly to the right, attempt to move forward and look behind you.

The Microsoft Windows Phone platform is definitely not one of the most popular around. Given the enormous shadow that iOS and Android have cast, it would be hard for Windows Phone and any other smaller platform to step into the light, but we suppose slow and steady wins the race. According to the latest Comscore figures ending in October 2013, it has been revealed that Microsoft's Windows Phone platform has managed to gain some extra ground in the US market, growing by 0.2%, which has suggested that the platform saw almost half a million US users hop aboard the Windows Phone bandwagon in the past few months.

Microsoft's Windows XP has been hanging around for a fair number of years already, so much so that Microsoft has finally made the decision to stop supporting the venerable desktop operating system after more than a dozen years. Of course, I am quite sure that many Windows XP loyalists and fans would see this as inevitable, but it is a rite of passage in life that one has to go through as well. China, however, (or at least in this case, the government) would like the software giant to continue supporting Windows XP.

When it comes to PC gaming, one of the sounds you hate to hear is that “beep!” when you've pressed down too many keys. This is due to most average keyboards having a set number of keys allowed to be pressed at the same time. The way to combat this is to pick up a mechanical keyboard, such as the ROCCAT Ryos MK Glow gaming keyboard. Not only does it boast Cherry MX key switches, but also allows for up to 500 macros to be programmed, something I have heard of, but never used before. Let's see how well it worked.

Google Glass is a piece of wearable technology that has definitely captured the attention and minds of many people ever since it was announced. In fact, it was not too long ago when we talked about how a Seattle restaurant actually evicted its patron for wearing Google Glass, citing that other guests might not be comfortable with the idea that their photos and video could be captured unknowingly. This time around, we have a certain Cecilia Abadie who pleaded not guilty in a traffic court to charges of speeding and distracted-driving while wearing a pair of Google Glass.

HTC Desire 700 & Desire 501 unveiled for Taiwan

With only a month left before 2013 draws to a close, HTC has unveiled a handful of new devices which are destined for the Taiwanese market. The HTC Desire 700 and HTC Desire 501 are completely new devices in HTC's lineup, but the Desire 601 and 300 are practically the same as the phones HTC showed off at IFA a few months back. As with previous phones in the desire family, HTC is pushing the premium design features of the HTC One down stream. The HTC Desire 700 could easily be mistaken for a large HTC One mini, but its low resolution 5-inch qHD display will certainly set it apart from HTC's premium devices.

Apple Patent Reveals Plans For Facial Detection And Recognition

Apple Patent Reveals Plans For Facial Detection And Recognition

With the iPhone 5s, Apple has introduced Touch ID which basically provides its users a layer of security that identifies the user through their fingerprints. While Touch ID is reported to be pretty decent and responsive, it does not mean that it is the perfect system, and a recent Apple patent has suggested that the Cupertino company could be looking at facial detection/recognition as a means of providing added security as well. However as with the case with most patents, there's no telling if and when Apple will implement it, but based on our understanding of this particular patent, it does sound like a pretty good idea.

Microsoft and Sony both launched their new game consoles, PS4 and Xbox One, in November. Most retailers immediately sold out of stock which meant that those customers who weren't able to get their pre-orders in had to wait until the consoles were back in stock. Both companies are working hard to ensure that there's enough stock to go around particularly during the time when Christmas shopping picks up. A man in Colorado Springs wanted to buy a PS4 for his son as a Christmas present so he found a seller on Craigslist, met him and paid him an undisclosed amount. There was no console in the box, it was stuffed full of towels.
