Thanko releases a crappie Video projector for your beloved Jesus Phone

Thanko, unfortunately, nowadays rhyme with crappie made in China Gadgets, and today's offer is maybe one of the worse, or best example you could think of, behold Thanko's Pico projector module for iPhone4, the IPMIPR01. Announced at an atrociously expensive price of 15,800 Yen (Seriously?) the IPMIPR01 feature a weak 320×240 LED projector module alongside a 1W speaker for just 32g.

Trailer for Bollywood's Singham flips our lids

Trailer for Bollywood's Singham flips our lids

In a world where physics holds no sway, one cop is ready to take on corrupt politicians and the mobsters that pay them off. or something. Honestly, we don't care about the plot to Singham – a Bollywood remake of the 2010 Tamil film of the same name. What we do enjoy is watching two Mahindra SUVs playing bit parts in an action-adventure that's one part Lethal Weapon and two parts Naked Gun. If nothing else, the lead character is inspiring a last minute revision to our Super Troopers Halloween costume.

iPhone 4S battery drain could be result of time zone bug

. We have seen a number of reports suggesting that the Apple iPhone 4S has a software bug that has resulted in poor battery life. iDownloadBlog says that adjusting the time zone settings on the iPhone might help alleviate the issue. Reportedly, a bug within iOS 5 forces the phone's location tracking feature to remain active far more than it should, which in turn drains the phone's battery too quickly.

Palm Pre-iPhone hybrid spotted

Palm Pre-iPhone hybrid spotted

What happens when you cross the now defunct Palm with their more recent smartphones with the Apple iPhone. I suppose it would be something like what you are looking at above – it somewhat resembles the Palm Pre, although it rings just like an iPhone when there is an incoming call. When that happens, the handset will switch over to the standard webOS interface on AT&T's network. No idea on whether this is the Pre 2 or part of the Palm family, but the display certainly does not seem to live up to the unicorn-like Pre 3′s requirements.

Samsung Galaxy S receives Ice Cream Sandwich port

For those who own slightly older Android devices and you're worried about Ice Cream Sandwich not making its way onto your device, you can now add another phone to the list of Android smartphones that have received the Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) port in the form of the Samsung Galaxy S. . The Samsung Galaxy S now joins the list which contains the Nexus One and the HTC Thunderbolt. Since the ICS's source code has yet to be released, for those wondering, this means that the devices we just mentioned are running on the ICS SDK.

Fiat 500 Abarth finally lands in the U.S. (video)

One of the benefits of the strengthening ties between Fiat and Chrysler is a mutual expansion of their joint product portfolio. The shared leadership of the two auto groups has seen Fiats arrive in North American showrooms and Chryslers proliferating overseas. Which is all well and good, but where's the excitement. Where are the performance models for which the Italian auto industry is so deeply loved.

Android tablet turned into a TV gaming console

While tablets are still have a long way to go before they can replace our regular gaming consoles, they're definitely headed in the right direction. The folks over at HDblog.it recently turned their Acer Iconia Tab A500 into a gaming system with the help of an Xbox 360 controller and an HDMI-cable connected to a 40″ Samsung TV. Their game of choice. The recently released Shadowgun. The game definitely looks as good as it does on the tablet and on the TV, but there is some noticeable lag.

Verizon LG Revolution Android 2.3 Gingerbread update on its way

It looks like Verizon and LG have finally finished working on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for the LG Revolution. This, if you remember, is one of the first 4G LTE smartphones offered by Verizon, and it launched many months ago running Android 2.2 Froyo unfortunately. But Revolution owners are about to get their first taste of Gingerbread. Verizon has already published all the relevant documentation about the update, and according to Android Police, the rollout has started today. The update is expected to have reached all the LG Revolution smartphones by the middle of next week. So this is a staggered rollout, but a pretty fast one.

Thought Windows on ARM was snazzy. Have a gander at this. The outfit's forthcoming ARMv8 architecture, the first ARM architecture to include a 64-bit instruction set, has just been detailed, with a goal to expand the reach of ARM processor-based solutions "into consumer and enterprise applications where extended virtual addressing and 64-bit data processing are required." The ARMv8 architecture consists of two main execution states - AArch64 and AArch32 - and we're apt to see the real benefits hit high-end servers first.

If you've ever wished that you could see the insides of stores that you've never set foot into, you're in luck. Google has recently announced the launch of a new service called Business Photos. Using a concept that's similar to Google Street View, but instead of giving us a 360-view of the streets, Business Photos gives users a 360-degree view of what the inside of a store looks like. Of course, not all stores are available to virtually visit (since it's an opt-in, and Google has to go over there to snap photos), but from the demos available on Google's website, it looks really good.

Jeep pickup trucks are griffins. Amalgamated kings of all automotive beasts that combine the friendly puppy vibe of a Wrangler with the utility of a cargo box. Ten years ago, American Expedition Vehicles gave the public the original TJ-based Brute at that year's SEMA show, and now the company is reprising that performance and introducing the Brute Double Cab. Well, it looks like Nokia might be onboard with creating Windows 8 tablets. Jack ‘O Lantern spits flames

Jack ‘O Lantern spits flames

I understand that Halloween is supposed to be an extremely scary holiday, especially for adults who want to make the hair on the backs of their kids stand. Jack ‘O Lanterns are definitely a staple when it comes to Halloween decorations, and here we are with one that not only looks menacing, it is – considering the fact that it is capable of spitting out tongues of flame to grill anyone who is being an annoying pest. This uniquely modified carving from a pumpkin will definitely put you on the blacklist of all parents in the neighborhood from this year onwards until they move away (or you do first), that's for sure.

Were you intrigued by Warpia's StreamHD, but turned off by its $170 price. Well maybe the new Value Edition (or VE to the cool kids) will make you crack open that piggy bank. At $130 we still wouldn't call the StreamHD VE an impulse purchase, but it's certainly not a budget buster. In the package is the same USB adapter, a wireless receiver and an A/V base with an HDMI out - and the company still throws in an HDMI cable to boot. What do you lose to land that $40 discount? Well 5.1 surround sound for one. There's no S/PDIF out and only stereo audio is supported over HDMI.

Amazon's gift card restriction patent: puts some thought in your otherwise thoughtless present

We all have that one friend or family member that's nigh impossible to shop for, whether it's because they have everything or like nothing. Gift cards are the quick and dirty solution to this gifting conundrum, but what if you don't trust that special someone to make a purchase you'd be proud to call your present. Never fear, Amazon is here. with a new patent that lets you, the gift-giver, control which of the retailer's wares can be bought with its gift cards. Of course, those who aren't such control freaks can simply have the card make purchase recommendations instead.

HTC Thunderbolt Gingerbread Update Brings New Desk Mode – Official Dock Required

Aside from the usual Gingerbread goodies, The HTC Thunderbolt over-the-air update (rolling out now) had a few other Sense goodies bundled with it as well. As you can see from the above image, once the T-Bolt is nestled comfortably in its dock, the HTC activates an all new “Desk Mode” and viola — landscape Sense. This is a great surprise for those lucky Thunderbolt owners lucky enough to grab the official HTC dock from Verizon when it debuted back in June. Desk Mode actually displays content a little different than when in portrait mode making Sense look a little more like a tablet UI.
