Toyota dominates Consumer Reports annual Top Picks list

Two years after Consumer Reports smacked Toyota by pulling its coveted Recommended label from the Japanese automaker's vehicles in the wake of safety concerns, the venerable consumer products testing magazine has slipped back into its comfortable role of being one of Toyota's biggest fans. In announcing its annual Top Picks list, CR lauded five Toyota models as best-in-class, meaning the once beleaguered brand captured fully half of the category awards. The five triumphant Toyota models included the Camry Hybrid (hybrid), RAV4 (small SUV), Sienna V6 (family hauler), Prius (green car), and Highlander (Family SUV).

Citroën DS4 Racing concept confirmed for Geneva

Citroën did it before with the DS3, bringing a DS3 Racing limited edition hatchback to the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, now it's time for the DS4 Racing concept. As with its predecessor it's been developed by Citroën Racing, the arm that preps the car that's won the WRC seven times running, and my oh my this sure is one bloody hot and sexy hatchback. As you'd expect, the DS4 Racing concept is 35 millimeters lower and has a 55-mm wider track, with words like “bigger” and “more powerful” getting lots of use elsewhere.

[Update: Official for March 4th] Sony Tablet P Headed to AT&T March 3rd for $400?

AT&T could be set to offer the Sony Tablet P very soon if recent rumors are to be believed. The T3ch Boys have supposedly gotten hands on an internal document from Ma Bell stating that the Sony Tablet P will be launching on their network March 3rd for $399.99. The 3rd of March is a Saturday, inconsistent with AT&T's favorite launch day of Sunday. The 1GHz Tegra 2 device is far from new, but it's still one of the more interesting tablets we've seen. It's a clamshell device that has two 5.5 inch displays, making up an 11 inch tablet (sort of) when it's unfolded.

Sony updates PS Vita sales figures: 'over 1.2 million units worldwide', 2 million in software

As of recently, the PS Vita has become available in the locales of America, Europe and PAL territories, and now Sony's updated sales figures are in. How does "over 1.2 million units worldwide" sound. Because that's how many systems were purchased as of February 26th. If you'll recall, just two days after its December 19th arrival in Japan, the Vita rushed out of the gate, with Sony citing 321,000 units sold. Sales quickly slowed, however, despite the system making its way across Asia, as that number only rose to 500,000 by the time CES hit in January.

Fila Skele-lite Running Shoes Review

Fila Skele-lite Running Shoes Review

Being a decades-long runner and a bit AR, I am particular about the running shoes I use. Especially now that I am getting older, I want to keep my knees and ankles as strong and healthy as I can. As runners out there know, it all starts with your shoes. In the past year I have tried several minimalist running shoes, including several variants of Vibram's FiveFingers. Their complete lack of cushion wears on my toes during long runs on hard surfaces.

How to Use your Box Account as a Network Drive

How to Use your Box Account as a Network Drive

Did you just take advantage of the free 50GB Android account mentioned in my previous post. Did you already have a box account from the iOS or Sony Ericsson promo. Or do you just already have a Box account. I've got to admit, the web interface on the desktop is pretty clunky. There's no way to drop and drag folders into your account, so if you want to do that you have to recreate folders and subfolders on your Box account and copy files in at a file level – a slow, laborious, and time-consuming exercise.  Below, I'll outline the procedures for setting up your Box account as a network drive with Windows 7 or a Mac.

Blizzard reveals new Diablo 3 class skills

Blizzard reveals new Diablo 3 class skills

While the Diablo 3 beta was certainly a fun insight as to what we might be able to expect from the game, it certainly was limiting. For those who haven't played the beta, it basically previewed some low level skills that players could gain access to, the merchants, a boss fight and mercenaries, but it seems that some of that will be changing as Blizzard has recently uploaded a series of videos showing off new base skills for every class in the game.
