Leno steals Porsche 918 from The Quail for latest Garage episode

Just because he's a famous celebrity doesn't mean Jay Leno got to take it easy at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance earlier this month. Having already spent some time with the gorgeous Cadillac Elmiraj Concept and Ed Welburn for a recent episode of Jay Leno's Garage, the late night talk show host also got to put a few miles on a prototype version of the Porsche 918 Spyder. Like a usual episode of JLG, Leno first goes over the details of the car with Frank Walliser, head of the 918 Spyder's development, before taking it out for spin. Check out the full episode, which is posted below, to hear what Walliser has to say about the car.

Jaguar XJ220 hooned remotely by a kid

Jaguar XJ220 hooned remotely by a kid

The Tax the Rich crew has a knack for indulging in automotive fantasies and capturing it all on video, such as a tug-of-war battle between two Ferrari F50s, drifting a Ferrari Enzo on gravel roads and even powersliding a Rolls-Royce Phantom on a field of wet grass. This latest video features a Jaguar XJ220 and a kid with an iPad, who somehow is able to control the old supercar with the Apple product. No, there's no app for that (yet), and we lied - the boy isn't actually controlling the car - but it sure is nice to see the XJ220 in all its turbocharged, six-cylinder glory doing donuts and sliding across a grassy field.

Google quietly bought smartwatch maker WIMM last year - Nexus watch almost certain

Rumors of a Google-made “Nexus smartwatch” have been buzzing around the rumor mill for awhile now. It was back in March a source from The Financial Times allegedly confirmed the existence of such a smartwatch, one that could be released by end of this year. You may remember back in August of 2011 a small company by the name of WIMM tried making a name for itself with a modular smartwatch product called the WIMM One.

BlackBerry Q10 cited to be commercial failure by retailers

Phones with QWERTY keyboards have always been the strong suite of BlackBerry. Which is why when the company revamped their product portfolio with BB10 and the Z10, they decided to not forgo QWERTY phones altogether and launched the Q10 (and consequently the Q5). Well, it seems that strategy isn't working out so well. According to The Wall Street Journal, who talked to retailers in the US and Canada, the Q10 is an unmitigated failure.

Plexus Concept Shirt Will Change Based On The Occasion

Plexus Concept Shirt Will Change Based On The Occasion

When it comes to outfits, there's usually an appropriate outfit for every occasion, such as one worn for sports, one for work, one for formal meetings, and etc. However if you're the sort of person who's schedule is packed to the max, constantly changing seems rather inefficient, not to mention it could rack up a pretty expensive laundry bill, so what do you do. Well the Plexus concept could be the answer to your problem. This shirt concept was designed by Vernon Chen and Joanne Lim Jin Xuan where the shirt will be able to morph into an appropriate look based on the occasion.

Next-gen C-Class shows more new curves

Next-gen C-Class shows more new curves

Here we have another look at the 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and in a silver hue it shows off the S-Class-inspired lines we've been expecting. Make sure you check out both cars in the gallery of spy shots, though; whereas the silver car above hides its hood and trunk, those two features on the dark blue car are mostly exposed while the character lines on the sides are covered. Sum it up and we can make out most of what's going on with the no-longer-entry-level sedan. The sloping, stretched headlights, sloping trunk line and angled taillights reveal a practical cheat-sheet for the design of the S-Class.

Are you one who loves or loathes airports. The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) has a certain charm about it, and this time around, it intends to make life easier and more convenient for the millions of travelers who go through its terminals every single year by completing the comprehensive upgrade of the airport's free Wi-Fi network. Comfort Cast Helps You Update Doctors, Facebook While Your Bones Heal

Last month, we caught wind of a 3d-printed cast that is able to give your wounded area, such as your arm, some much needed ventilation as it helps heal your busted bones, and is also recyclable. We thought the concept was pretty neat, but the concept of the Comfort Cast makes us want to go play in traffic in hopes we'll limp off with a broken bone or seven. Kyuho Song came up with the concept of the Comfort Cast in order to help keep the wearer connected in a number of ways.

2014 Honda Odyssey first minivan to earn Top Safety Pick+ award (video)

You know an automaker is confident about the safety of its vehicles when it asks one of the top crash test agencies to destroy one of its newest models. That's exactly what happened with the 2014 Honda Odyssey. According the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, Honda requested that the agency run the updated Odyssey through its full barrage of tests, and for good reason. Aside from slight styling upgrades and a new optional HondaVac built-in vacuum cleaner, the 2014 Odyssey was also given a more rigid passenger compartment using high-strength steel to help better protect occupants. It obviously worked.

Lincoln 'not true luxury' yet, says Ford design chief

Lincoln 'not true luxury' yet, says Ford design chief

Lincoln is "not true luxury," according to Ford's design boss, J Mays. His statements come from a story in The Detroit News that saw candid language on the issues facing Ford's troubled premium brand. Notably, there's a need for a strong character, with Mays saying, "Every brand needs to have a DNA and a unique selling point and things in the vehicle that make you think, 'That's that particular brand.'". With a range of rebadged Fords, it's not hard to see why that DNA is missing. Mays hinted that a full recovery for Lincoln will be a ten-year process, that's been kicked off with the MKZ sedan.

T-Mobile sues AT&T over magenta colored logo of Aio pre-paid service

While it's not quite Uncarrier 3.0, T-Mobile is once again throwing off the gloves in their bitter rivalry against AT&T. This time around, T-Mobile is taking issue with the colors AT&T chose for its pre-paid outfit, Aio Wireless (currently only available in Texas, Florida, and Georgia). In a U.S. District Court in Texas, T-mobile alleges that AT&T purposely chose magenta for the Aio logo so that potential customers would unknowingly associate the pre-paid service with T-Mobile and their shade of magenta of which the company actually has trademarked.

Cadillac planning more Vsport models

Cadillac planning more Vsport models

There's a new intermediate class of luxury performance cars emerging. Audi has been doing it for years with its S-line bridging the gap, in many cases, between the standard fare and the full-on RS performance range. BMW's getting in on it with the M Sport line slotting in above the full M models. And now Cadillac is joining the fun with its Vsport offerings.
Models like the CTS Vsport and XTS Vsport are packing a new 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 with 410 or more horsepower (along with bigger wheels and brakes) to slot in between the standard model and any impending V variant.

The safest driving cities in America listed for 2013

We all like to claim we know where the worst drivers in the US hog the road, but for the last nine years, Allstate has released a study telling us exactly where we can go to find the best and worst drivers in the country. After compiling crash data in America's largest cities (with more than 50,000 residents), this finding shows that for the third time in four years, Fort Collins, CO tops the list for safest roadways. Fort Collins drivers go almost 14 years between car accidents – an accident rate that is far better than the national average of about 10 years.

Within a few minutes of the attack, the New York Times had set in place alternative websites, and also posted up stories concerning the chemical attacks that have appalled the world, which happened in Syria recently.

The MINI is one of them, and to see classic MINIs purring on the road these days is a joy.

Eagle Tech Neptor 5600mAh portable battery pack review

Several times over the last couple of years, I've been left high and dry because my smartphone battery was so drained I wanted to "save" it in case of an emergency. There were still calls/texts/photos/global positioning I needed to do, but with no convenient place to recharge my phone, I was out of luck. That perfect photo opportunity - lost. Lost in an unfamiliar location with no GPS. If I kept a small battery pack like the Neptor in my purse or pocket I wouldn't run into these dilemmas.
