HTC's One X 5 phablet rumored to be sold as the Google Nexus 5

For a few months now, HTC has been rumored to be working on a 5-inch smartphone (or better said, phablet). And it turns out it may be sold as a Nexus device. A while back, a rumor claimed that Google would be launching no less than five new Nexus devices this fall, succeeding the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the Samsung Nexus S and HTC Nexus One before it. Each new Nexus device would be made by a different manufacturer, the story went.

Recently, we've heard rumblings about Samsung, Sony, and LG being in this exclusive club.
