According to Intel CEO Paul Otellini, his lips have let loose the Kraken. Wait a minute, I have mixed things up a wee bit there, Otellini mentioned to investors that Intel's very first Medfield-powered smartphone is ripe and ready to roll out to the masses sometime later this week. There are also whispers going around that the Lenovo K800 (see its benchmarks) will carry the honor of being the first Intel-powered smartphone, bringing along with it an Intel Atom 1.6GHz Z2460 processor, a 4.5″ touchscreen display as well as Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich as the operating system of choice.
Ubergizmo, Intel Medfield phone to launch this week?
