The Oculus Rift virtual reality headset is currently supported by some PC games. It has yet to become a widely adopted peripheral that games are designed around, but with its virtual reality capabilities, we don't deny that it would making gaming a much more immersive experience. While talks of bringing it onto the console are being considered, it seems that Oculus Rift are more excited about the possibility of bringing the VR headset to our mobile devices instead.
