The Nokia Lumia 1020 went up for pre-order in the UK in SIM-free and unlocked form yesterday. We already reported on Unlocked Mobiles beginning pre-orders for the device, but that particular retailer didn't attach a ‘ship date' to its listing (other than the vague mention of the month of September). The Lumia 1020 is due to be released in the UK on September 5. This information comes from another, even more well known British electronics retailer – Expansys.
