While everybody has been pretty upset over the high price of Sony's proprietary memory cards for the PlayStation Vita, there might be a silver lining to this cloud. According to the folks over at thriftynerd.com who were at a PlayStation Vita event, Vita PSN games would be around 40% cheaper than their retail counterparts. Apparently the discount is due to the lack of hardware and packaging for PSN downloaded games. In addition to news about the PSN discounts, it's been reported that the prices of games would be capped at $39.99 retail. This means $23 if you downloaded it - that's quite a lot of money saved if you ask me.
Ubergizmo, PSN Vita games to be 40% cheaper than retail?
